Step into the realm of resolution as I, Grant McGaugh, engage with Stonish Pierce , whose extensive expertise as Chief Operating Officer at Holy Cross Health.

Before joining Holy Cross Health, Pierce was System Vice President, Specialty Services for Beaumont Health, Michigan’s most extensive health system based on inpatient admissions and net patient revenue. During his tenure there, he recruited more than 150 physicians, co-led the transition of the physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) residency to internal oversight, transitioned the employed hospitalist program to a value-based model, facilitated top decile divisional employee engagement and transitioned more than 700 physicians to telehealth amid COVID-19.

A three-time recertified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Pierce is also a recipient of ACHE’s regional Early Career Healthcare Executive Award and Distinguished Service Awards. He was also recognized by his alma mater, the University of Southern California (USC), with the Price School’s 90 Pioneers of 90 Years Award. Pierce earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Health Administration degree with a graduate certificate in management, all from USC.
