    SEDI-CASE Launches New Capital Markets Program to Drive Economic Growth in the Caribbean and Latin America

    SEDI-CASE, the St. Croix Economic Development Initiative, has announced the official launch of its CASE Capital Markets (CCM) Formation and Structure Program. This new initiative aims to better foster, expand, boost, and diversify Saint Croix’s and the broader US Virgin Islands’ (USVI) economy, industry sectors, and attract new investments, businesses, and create new jobs.

    The CCM Program:

    The CCM program is a significant step forward for SEDI-CASE, as it establishes a new financial center of highly reputable investment bankers from major banks, investment banks, venture capital, PE firms, global financial markets systems, fintech, and foreign direct investments (FDI) of strategic partners. This will help create the CASE Capital Markets Formation/Structure Environment in the Caribbean and Latin America Region as a US National Heritage Area, HubZone and Opportunity Zone.

    The United States Virgin Islands has adopted the CASE Uniform Security Act, allowing it to go public and operate as publicly traded companies. The CASE Capital Markets system will create an environment for domestic businesses, organizations, institutions, and governments of all types and sizes to raise capital for infrastructure projects and operational needs.

    SEDI-CASE’s Grant McGaugh, Managing Director of Cornhuskers Capital, will lead a team as a SEDI-CASE strategic partner to handle deal structuring, investment banking, M&A transactions, capital raising, fairness opinions, private placement, valuation, and ESOP advisory services.

    SEDI-CASE Announces Major Capital Markets Initiative

    Driving Economic Development:

    This major collaborative effort will also serve as Centers of Innovation in International Trade, Commerce, Finance, Technology and Media. These Centers of Innovation will partner with SEDI-CASE’s strategic collaborative partners across the US Mainland regional chamber of commerce, professional, trade associations, and other economic development government instrumentalities, in cities like Boston, New England, New York Tri-state, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV), Atlanta, Georgia, Miami & South Florida, Taiwan, and Argentina.

    SEDI-CASE: 2nd Annual Spring Economic Summit:

    To further drive this initiative, SEDI-CASE will be hosting its 2nd Annual Spring Economic Summit in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and St. Croix, USVI on April 7th-8th, 2025. This event will be the official and formal unveiling the USVI Caribbean Americas Single Economy, and the CASE Capital Markets investor summit to promote St. Croix and the USVI and regional economy.
