Tasked with redesigning the delivery of healthcare — guiding healthcare organizations as they shift with technology, market forces, patients, and regulation. Episode 13 will feature Jayson Forbes, whose goal is to become a Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) by pursuing his Ph.D. in public health at Florida International University.

BIO
Jayson Forbes is a health systems researcher and Graduate Assistant at Florida International University. Born and raised in South Florida to two Jamaican-born parents, Jayson proudly is the first member of his family to pursue a doctoral degree. In his studies, Jayson researches patient safety, patient safety culture, and care coordination. He aspires to one day lead a healthcare system that values evidence-based methods, continuous learning, and community engagement. Recently some of Jayson Forbes’ research was accepted at the 2021 American Public Health Association (APHA) Conference. Jayson hopes to improve quality and access to care for people around the world.
